broadfordbooks_showroomBroadford Books was established in June 2013 by Tim and Tanya Collie.

We carry a wide range of stock consisting principally of antiquarian, Irish Interest, literature, art, illustrated books and private presses. As well as on focusing on fine copies of scarce books we carry a wide range of titles for the avid reader.

Tim Collie is originally from north of the river, after studying Geography in Scotland and working for a number of years in England in Town Planning, he decided, with the help of his family to return to Ireland and turn his love of books into a full time occupation.

He has collected for many years and is principal interests are in antiquarian books, illustrated books, ephemera and original manuscript material.

Tanya Walsh has stayed put on the south side of the river, after studying English in UCD she undertook post graduate studies in Drama, also in UCD.

She has worked in theatre, teaching and in promotion and event management for the library service in the UK. Her special interests lie in literature, drama and youth fiction.

We travel regularly to the UK both to buy and sell, and purchase the right material anywhere in the world and as a result we carry a broad range of stock in many fields.
